This is a London Transport enamel bus stop 'e' plate for Route '205 Mon.-Sat.'.
The plate is approximately 130mm wide x 125mm deep and weights around 250g.
There was a traditional long-standing Route 205 running between Chingford and Cheshunt but this ran on Sundays only. This 'e' plate came from the very short-lived local Route 205 in the Colindale area. It was introduced on 17th May 1980 running on Mondays to Saturdays between Mill Hill Broadway and Colindale (Annesley Avenue) via Bunns Lane, Grahame Park Way, Cornermead and Colindale Avenue. The route was withdrawn on 8th May 1981.
The 'e' plate is in excellent condition with just a little surface marking (see photo).
