A London Transport enamel bus stop 'Q' plate from a bus stop in St. Bride Street (Ludgate Circus) probably dating from the 1960s: "ALSO BUSES TO STONECUTTER STREET ONLY".
The bus stop in St. Bride Street would have been served by through buses on Routes 17, 18 and 45 towards Gray's Inn Road, but also served by buses terminating at Farringdon Street (Stonecutter Street) such as Routes 4, 168, N68 and N88.
The plate is approximately 410mm wide x 125mm deep and weighs around 590g.
The plate is in generally good condition with some wear along the edges but there is a small 15mm circular face chip to the left of the word 'only' which has been touched in with red paint as have a couple small edge chips (see photos).
